Native America

November is Native American Heritage month, so here are some recent titles about the Native American experience.

You must not know that the movie is out, because there are plenty of copies of the book still checked in.

It's the story of two kids who meet in New York City. One's is told in words, and the other's in pictures.

You may remember that another of Brian Selznick's books has been made into a movie,

Happy Birthday Captain Underpants!

Did you that Captain Uuderpants has been around for 20 years?!  Technically it's been longer than that because Dav Pilkey wrote/drew the first Capt. Underpants story when he was in the 2nd grade. (He spent a lot of time drawing in school because he was frequently getting in trouble and being sent out to the hallway.)
